Every year, local students fill out an application, write two essays and are interviewed to compete for a spot to go to Tallahassee for a chance to experience and participate in our states government. Out of all applicants, only 300 girls get this honor. American Legion Auxiliary Unit 318 is proud to give this opportunity to a very deserving candidate.
American Legion Auxiliary Unit 318, Port St. Lucie, President Debbie Johnston would like to congratulate Nicole Geldmaker for being the 2014 Girls State recipient.
