An elite eight Cobra Chorus members joined their director Mr. Martinez at Stetson University’s Choral Festival on October 6th and 7th. What started out as an early morning road trip to Deland, Florida became a trip of a lifetime. Over two days, chorus students worked with Stetson’s husband and wife team choral directors to workshop four arrangements at the festival’s conclusion. Singing for Stetson choirs and listening to Stetson students perform set an atmosphere of engagement, new connections, and mutual admiration. Mr. Martinez was pleased to reconnect with his alma mater while introducing his students to the next level of choral music.
