A Spirited Valentine’s Week at FPC!
Forget chocolates and roses—Valentine’s Spirit Week at Fort Pierce Central was where the hearts couldn’t help bursting with joy! This fantastic lineup of themes put on by our Student Government Association had everyone from the fashion-forward to the fabulously funny join in! Teddy Grams, secret cupids, hidden heart tests, and a cupid photo scavenger hunt kept campus buzzing with Valentine’s excitement all week! A special cupid thanks to Mr. Bradley, SGA’s tireless sponsor and dedicated Cobra!
Monday: Rom-Com Characters Costume Day saw the ultimate Rom-Com character showdown. We channeled our inner Teen-drama with starry eyed glances exchanged between charming personas. From the classics to the newest favorites, all the must have streaming characters united, turning campus into a star-studded, hearts-galore movie set. This may have been your “meet-cute” moment with some unexpected showstoppers!
Tuesday: Status Checks can come in many forms. In the case of wardrobe, white indicated in a relationship, grey was complicated, and black was single.
Wednesday: Red vs. Pink Nothing says Valentine’s Day quite like the clash of colors: Red vs. Pink. Are you fierce and fiery, or sweet and rosy? Friends declared their hue of choice and the battle began. From spirit competitions to color-specific challenges, it was a day where fashion met ferocity. The creative combos dominated the color scene!
Thursday: Dynamic Duos Day was all about teamwork as we celebrated Dynamic Duos. Students and a buddy dressed up as famous pairs that have left their mark on many hearts. Batman and Robin, Scooby and Shaggy, and sunrise western-ware were shared among friends. Whether you were partners in high jinx or curated costumes, we doubled the fun and doubled the laughs. Remember, two heads (and costumes) are better than one!
Friday: Cupid’s Colors Cupid’s got a wardrobe and it’s as eclectic as it gets. We embraced the broad spectrum of love by donning all colors of love. Think pastel pinks, passionate purples, and every shade in between. And don’t forget the heart accessories! Whether you were adorned with wings, an arrow, or even just a heart-shaped sticker, it was a day for everyone to feel the love and spread it around.
Throughout this enchanting week, we saw spontaneous dance-offs, surprise serenades, and all the campus culture that made Fort Pierce Central’s Valentine’s Spirit Week unforgettable. While love is still in the air, it is the spirit and joy we shared that made this celebration truly magical.
