The Big Red Buses Visited Cobra Nation
The Fort Pierce Medical Academy, OneBlood, and Mrs. Barbara Charles would like to thank the heroes who boarded the Big Red Buses to save lives on Thursday, February 1! Over 200 units of whole blood and many apheresis procedures (removing plasma and/or Red Blood Cells) were collected. This result equates to nearly 500 lives being impacted by FPC’s participation in the blood drive! A warm thank you to the administration, teachers, and staff that made the drive possible. Students earned scholarship dollars in Thursday’s blood drive to be used toward school activities such as Homecoming, Prom, club dues, parking decals, senior fees, testing, yearbook, etc. A heartfelt thank you to our donors whose individual acts will help save many lives!
