Fort Pierce Westwood’s FFA Was on the Move in September

2025 HBBA Fall Classic
Our members have been busy showcasing their dedication, leadership, and agricultural excellence!
St. Lucie County Fair Steer Weigh-In & Tagging: Members exhibiting steers completed their official weigh-in and tagging—one step closer to an amazing fair! (Pictured: Abigail Brickley & Emily Castro)
CPC Conference: Chapter President Alyssa Coppock and Vice President of Strengthening Agriculture Laila Chastine attended CPC, spending two days growing their professional development and gathering valuable insights to strengthen our chapter’s success.
Showmanship Clinic: Chapter Secretary Sadie Buxton and member Rylee Lynch led the goat portion of the showmanship clinic—teaching project selection, daily care, and showmanship techniques. Their guidance built confidence and hands-on skills for future exhibitors while promoting premier leadership and a passion for animal care.
Show Ring Success:
Laila Chastine – Reserve Champion Steer & 3rd Overall in Senior Showmanship
Abigail Brickley – 1st in class in both the Steer and Heifer Show
Anaiah Riley – Successful first-ever jackpot show
Sophie Kunkle – Grand Champion American Influenced Steer

Leadership in Action:
Our Officer Team attended Chapter Officer Leadership Training (C.O.L.T.) in Tampa, where they collaborated with FFA chapters statewide and gained valuable tools to bring back to our own!
We are so proud of our members’ hard work, achievements, and commitment to agricultural excellence and leadership. The future of Fort Pierce Westwood FFA is bright!
