The FPCHS Unified Bowling Team delivered an outstanding performance at the Unified Bowling State Championship held at Boardwalk Bowl in Orlando on October 29, earning an impressive third-place finish in the state of Florida. This remarkable accomplishment is especially significant as the Cobras achieved this success in only the program’s second year of competition. This team represents the best of Cobra Nation with students of all ability levels joining together, showcasing their strengths, dedication, and willingness to show teamwork above all else!
Throughout the season, our student-athletes demonstrated tremendous dedication, sportsmanship, and perseverance, qualities that were on full display at the state championship. Competing against some of the top Unified bowling teams in Florida, the Cobras showcased exceptional teamwork, determination, and skill while proudly representing Fort Pierce Central High School.
Unified sports create opportunities for students of all abilities to compete together, build friendships, and celebrate one another’s strengths. The success of the bowling team reflects not only their hard work on the lanes but also the spirit of inclusion and support that makes Cobra Nation so special.
Congratulations to our talented student-athletes, dedicated coaches, and supportive families and fans for this incredible achievement. Bringing home a state trophy in just the program’s second year is a testament to the commitment and heart of everyone involved. We are incredibly proud of our Cobras and look forward to cheering them on as they continue to raise the bar for excellence both on and off the lanes!
