Mr. O’Neill from Fort Pierce Central High Schol held a Culinary Career Fair Monday May 4th. Many local businesses were invited to participate in the Fair. Tables were set up and staffed with information about their establishments and opportunities.

Students were able to meet restructures and ask questions directly to industry professionals, learn about their careers, training pathways, and employment.
A special highlight was welcoming John Westing Jr., managing partner of Zest Kitchen (owned by Ms. Carolyn Collins, FPC reading teacher). John is a Cobra Alum! Students enjoyed hearing how an SLC graduate turned his passion for hospitality into a successful career in culinary leadership.

Participants were treated to breakfast and lunch provided by the business owners who attended.
