Fort Pierce Central High School Ladies Softball Gets a New Look

The FPC High School Ladies Softball program kicked off the 2026 season with energy, teamwork, and a fresh coat of purple and gold pride! On Friday, January 23rd, the team held its very first team bonding activity of the year led by Coach Stephanie DeVries and it was the perfect blend of fun, hard work, and school spirit.
Players and coaches rolled up their sleeves and spent the afternoon updating their dugouts with vibrant new paint, giving the field a refreshed look that reflects this year’s team motto:
“Look Good, Feel Good, Play Good.”
The first step in looking good?
A field that matches the confidence and determination of the athletes who play on it.
Thanks to the collaborative spirit of our softball community, the makeover was a huge success! A special shout‑out goes to:
  • Home Depot, Coach Bill, and Ava Sparkman for donating paint and supplies
  • A.D. Crespo, Assistant A.D. Braddy, Michael Taylor, Principal Gardner and the administration team for their support and encouragement of this initiative
The dugouts now shine just as bright as the team’s goals for the season—and this project was only the beginning. With teamwork, pride, and purpose leading the way, the Lady Cobras are ready to make this year one to remember!
Stay tuned for more updates as the season unfolds. Go FPC!
