Senior Class President Nicolas Tovar recently added a new title to his list of accolades. Nico was honored as February’s Scholar Athlete of the Month from WPBF Channel 25 News & the Law Firm of Lytal, Reiter, Smith, Ivey, & Fronrath. From Embry Riddle Aerospace program to IRSC and FPC, Nico is dedicated to Cobra Nation as the Captain of Band, Cross Country, Track & Field, and the Swim & Dive Team. Along with Captain, he holds many offices: Beta Club President, Key Club VP, NHS Secretary, and SGA Historian. Nico is a designer for the Yearbook and is considering architecture or digital media while waiting for admittance and scholarship decisions from UF and Yale. While Nico is planning on his future, he will continue to enjoy the remainder of his time at Central. After high school, he plans on continuing sports and leadership roles in clubs in college. With so much to savor in a senior year, Nico makes the most of every moment and feels pride in contributing to the best Cobra Nation has to offer.
