Many schools have holiday celebrations. What makes Fort Pierce Central unique is the heartfelt warmth through which our staff connects at special times of the year. The Annual Poinsettia Luncheon is a much-anticipated holiday tradition in Cobra Nation. With all the holiday magic collected, Chefs Strell and Swertfager, along with the Cobra Culinary students, seem to outdo themselves every year!
An over-the-top menu this year featured mains of roasted pork loin with cranberry and orange glaze along with prime rib, glazed carrots, vegetable medley, sweet potato pasta with brown butter, and smashed potatoes two ways in accompaniment with caesar salad, cranberry apple quinoa salad, and garlic bread. For dessert, we were treated to a variety of holiday cupcakes and blueberry crumble. Although a hearty thanks may come up short for a meal more spectacular than a 5 Michelin Star experience, let our clean plates, warm smiles, and glittering eyes say thank you to our Cobra Culinary Arts Department for another memorable holiday meal to treasure all season long!
