Fort Pierce Central High School proudly celebrated the grand opening of the Cobra Café’s student-run culinary space “Espresso Edge & Bites” designed to showcase talent, foster hospitality skills, and serve as a vibrant gathering spot for the school community thanks to Chef Strell’s leadership!
Operated by students in the Culinary Arts program, the Cobra Café offers hands-on experience in food preparation, customer service, and business operations. Students rotate through roles from barista to line cook, gaining real-world skills in a supportive, high-energy environment.
A highlight of the café is its Espresso Edge & Bites service, offered on a rotating Thursday and Friday calendar. This pop-up menu features breakfast favorites, fresh pastries, take-away meals, and a variety of hot and cold beverages—all crafted and served by Cobra Culinary students. It’s quickly become a favorite stop for Cobra staff!
