Classrooms2Careers: Project Lift Tour

Career Coaches from St. Lucie Public Schools recently participated in an onsite tour and information session with Project LIFT, to learn more about postsecondary education and workforce training opportunities available to SLPS students after high school graduation. During the visit, coaches explored training programs offering industry-specific skills, certifications, and workforce experience. Project LIFT staff also shared information about programs designed to help young adults develop the skills and confidence needed for career success.
The experience enhanced the coaches’ ability to connect students with valuable career and educational pathways through the Classrooms2Careers initiative. By strengthening partnerships with local training providers, Career Coaches are better equipped to guide students in making informed decisions about their future and to support successful planning and preparation for life after high school. This collaboration further bridges the gap between students and the resources available to help them achieve their post-graduation goals.
*For high school students interested in exploring local career pathways or learning about opportunities within St. Lucie County, please reach out to the district’s Career Coaches: Mr. Terrence Platt or Dr. LeiNitia Robinson.
