Chester A. Moore’s First Parent Advisory Council Meeting is a Huge Success

On Thursday, October 28, 2021, C. A. Moore Elementary Principal, Dr. Thelma Jackson and Mrs. Theresa Gardner, Family and Community Engagement Teacher, held CAM’s initial parent and community involvement meeting. 21 parents along with retired teacher Ms. Nancy Spires attended pledging their support to improve teaching and learning at CAM. The meeting was enjoyable and productive. Participants shared fond memories of their experiences as students and educators at CAM, officers were elected, and plans for upcoming parent and community involvement activities were created. CAM looks forward to rebranding and continuing these valuable partnerships in its journey to school improvement.
