Congratulations to Samuel S. Gaines Academy’s John Davino! In a surprise visit by CBS Channel 12’s Teri Hornstein, he was recognized as an outstanding teacher and provided a check for $312 as part of Channel 12’s Tools for Teachers campaign. Mr. Davino, who was praised by former students as being a teacher who helped them strive for success, will use the funds to support his efforts for positive behavior instructional support efforts on campus.
