St. Lucie West Centennial High School is proud to announce the outstanding achievements of our students in the “Drop Savers” poster contest, organized by Port St. Lucie Utility Systems. This contest is aimed at promoting water conservation awareness among students. We are thrilled to celebrate the success of our four winners, each representing a different grade level. Congratulations to Brandon Cabrera (9th grade), Tienshi Chow (10th grade), Paige Hager (11th grade), and Gleidi Mercedes Picado (12th grade) for their creative and impactful posters. Their work highlights the importance of water conservation and showcases the artistic talent and environmental consciousness of our student body.

As winners, they will be recognized at a City Hall meeting, featured on the city’s social media handles and website, and have their artwork displayed at a city facility. Additionally, they will receive gift cards and other exciting prizes. These students will also have the opportunity to participate in the FSAWWA statewide Drop Savers poster contest, where they can earn further recognition.

We are incredibly proud of our students’ dedication to environmental stewardship and their contribution to fostering a culture of conservation within our community. Their achievements highlight the importance of educating and empowering young people to take an active role in preserving our natural resources.
