Celebrating Mr. Bolton’s 47 years in Education

Mr. Bolton has been the institution behind ninth-grade math in the district and at FPC for nearly four decades. His career spans 47 years stretching from the northeastern seaboard down to sunny south Florida. Cobra Nation came out, flanking the red carpet during a walk fit for a legend.

At his farewell luncheon, Mr. Bolton shared stories that got him into education and kept him as a teacher. At the heart of it all and end of everyday it was people–students, faculty, and the community. His dedication showed through, setting the standard for Cobra pride. Rarely having taken a sick day, Mr. Bolton is looking forward to enjoying his time in the beautiful St. Lucie way.

Rewards came to Mr. Bolton from watching timid ninth graders transform into confident young adults by their senior year. Watching students become who they are, learning from mistakes, wanting to be more, and do better is the best part of my job, claims Mr. Bolton. To Mr. Bolton and those like him in our district, thank you. Thank you for your dedication, service, and positive impact on this and many other generations. Congratulations Mr. Bolton! You will be missed. And remember–Once a Cobra, Always a Cobra!
