Creative Arts Academy of St. Lucie (CAST) Middle School Musical Theatre students had the wonderful opportunity of visiting the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in West Palm Beach. Students watched the matinee performance of Shrek, The Musical. Students also experienced their very first “talk back” with the Shrek cast. A special thank you to Mr. Wallace Rahming, Musical Theatre director, for providing CAST students with such a wonderful experience.
CAST 8th-grade students joined researchers/scientists at Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute on a unique boat field trip. Students had an opportunity to participate in marine science research that supports their science units of study. Students also participated in interactive activities and a Q&A with marine scientists as well. A special thank you to Miss Burch and Mrs. Church for organizing this learning opportunity for CAST students.
