Mayor Hudson Presents Dan McCarty Middle School with Treasure Coast Regional League of Cities Civics Grant. Seventh grade Civics students from Dan McCarty Middle School (DMMS) visited Fort Pierce City Hall on Wednesday, May 18, to learn more about municipal government. Mayor Linda Hudson presented the school with a grant of $500.00 from the Treasure Coast Regional League of Cities (TCRLC).

Principal Felicia Nixon and Assistant Principal Heather Stanford-Clark announced the Teacher of the Year, Distinguished Minority Educator, Outstanding First Year Teacher, and School Related Employee nominees during the Eagle News Morning Show. The entire school campus celebrated the phenomenal instructional/behavioral contributions of Ms. Dumont (TOY), Ms. Dennis (DME), Ms. Thiery (OFYT-not pictured), and Ms. Tucker (SRE). The Eagles wish them the best as they compete at the district level!
