Southern Oaks Middle School launched Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations by placing flags from Hispanic countries in our Hawks cafeteria. In addition, Ms. Ramirez displayed incredible projects from her World Language classes. Students chose a Hispanic country to research and created various displays to show off culture, food, celebrations, and history.

Today our students spent time with Southern Oaks Middle School SRD to experience what it is like to be a School Resource Deputy! Students were provided with a special badge and explored the famous patrol car. Students enjoyed turning on the lights, activating the sirens, and spoke on the PA system. It was a day of fun and exploration. Thank you Deputy Brennan for all you do each day for our students, families, and faculty! Hawks Soar!
