Last week, Fort Pierce Central’s 9th-grade Algebra students participated in their first Bootcamp of the year, held after school. The session focused on reinforcing essential concepts such as compound inequalities, literal equations, and linear functions. These targeted review sessions are designed to strengthen understanding, build confidence, and ensure students stay on track for academic success.

Algebra is a foundational subject for higher-level math and critical thinking. Hosting multiple bootcamps throughout the year allows students to revisit challenging topics, close learning gaps, and prepare for upcoming assessments.
Students were rewarded for their participation with exciting incentives: their lowest test score was dropped, they earned PBIS tickets, and three lucky attendees won basketball game passes.
Special thanks to our wonderful teachers, our dedicated bookkeepers, and custodial staff for making this event a success. Events like this reflect our commitment to student growth as we work toward becoming an A-Rated school!
