Positive choices were worth celebrating at Oak Hammock K-8 as students participated in the school’s October PBIS Celebration Day.
Ospreys earned Osprey Dollars for demonstrating the schoolwide PBIS expectations of being Safe, Responsible, Respectful, and Positive. Students then had the opportunity to use 10 of their hard-earned Osprey Dollars as admission to special grade-level celebrations.
The October event offered something special for every age group. Students in kindergarten through second grade tapped into their creativity at a festive Fall Craft Station, while students in grades 3 through 5 celebrated with friends at a Popsicle Social. Middle school students in grades 6 through 8 turned up the fun at a Glow Party, complete with music and an energetic atmosphere in the gym.
More than just a day of fun, the celebration reinforced an important message: positive choices matter. Oak Hammock’s PBIS celebrations give students an opportunity to experience the rewards of consistently meeting schoolwide expectations while building a positive school culture.
Through PBIS, Oak Hammock K-8 continues to create meaningful opportunities to recognize students for making good choices, demonstrating strong character, and contributing positively to the school community.
At Oak Hammock, celebrating success is part of helping every Osprey soar.
Be Safe. Be Responsible. Be Respectful. Be Positive. Go Ospreys!
