Fairlawn Elementary is growing something exciting this year—a brand-new Gardening Club! This wonderful new group gives students the opportunity to get outside, get their hands dirty, and learn all about the amazing world of plants and gardening.
Each week, students participate in engaging gardening lessons where they learn about plants, soil, seeds, and what it takes to help a garden grow. They also spend time working in our school garden, putting their new knowledge and skills into action. Through these hands-on experiences, students are learning about responsibility, teamwork, patience, and the importance of caring for our environment.
The Gardening Club is a wonderful way for students to explore science beyond the classroom while developing a love and appreciation for nature. Watching their hard work turn into something that grows and thrives is sure to be a rewarding experience!
A very special thank you to Mrs. Tindall for spearheading this amazing new group and bringing this opportunity to our students. We would also like to thank Ms. Gibson for helping and assisting with the Gardening Club. Their dedication and support are helping our students discover just how much fun learning can be!
