Fairlawn Elementary’s kindergarten classes recently celebrated their 3rd Annual Career Day, bringing learning to life through the school’s “Play with Purpose” curriculum. The event was a fun and meaningful way for students to explore the world of work while building confidence, creativity, and communication skills.
The highlight of the day was a lively fashion show, where students proudly dressed up as the careers they dream of pursuing. From doctors and teachers to construction workers, police officers, and even future astronauts, each child had the chance to step into a role and share their aspirations. As they walked the runway, students beamed with excitement, showing off their outfits and explaining what they want to be when they grow up.
Career Day not only sparked imagination but also helped students begin to understand the importance of different jobs in their community. Through play-based learning, Fairlawn continues to inspire young minds and encourage big dreams in even the smallest learners.
