St. Lucie West Centennial High School Certified Legal Assistant Students Met with Diamond Litty

Diamond Litty, from the Public Defender’s Office, recently visited St. Lucie West Centennial High School to speak with students in Ms. Baumgarten’s Legal Certified Assistant class. During the visit, students gained valuable insight into the role of the public defender and the importance of ensuring fair and equal representation within the justice system. The speaker shared real-world experiences from the courtroom, discussed career pathways in the legal field, and answered thoughtful questions from students interested in law-related professions.
