On March 7th, the Port St. Lucie High School Jaguar Battalion Drill Team competed at Seminole Ridge Community High School for the annual regional, state-qualifying drill meet, where they competed against seven other schools. The Jaguars delivered an outstanding performance across multiple categories, ultimately securing a 1st Place Overall win for the 13th consecutive year!
The teams thrived, securing impressive finishes in both male and female team events. Male Armed Squad Exhibition, Male Armed Platoon Exhibition, Male Unarmed Platoon, Female Armed Squad, Female Armed Platoon, Female Armed Platoon Exhibition all placed first. With Male Unarmed Squad, Male Armed Squad, Male Armed Platoon, Female Color Guard, Female Armed Squad Exhibition, Female Unarmed Platoon secured 2nd place, as well as Male Armed Dual Exhibition and Female Unarmed Squad secured 3rd place.
The dedication and discipline demonstrated by all Cadets throughout the competition were clearly reflected in their achievements. With these results, the Jaguar Battalion will be heading to Ridge Community High School, located in Davenport, Florida, on April 11, 2026, to compete in the State Drill Meet!
