SLWK-8 eighth grade students recently had the exciting opportunity to tour the Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs offered at SLW Centennial High School. During the visit, students explored a variety of pathways designed to prepare them for college, careers, and real-world success. Teachers and current students proudly represented their programs, sharing their knowledge, experiences, and passion for their chosen fields. Through engaging demonstrations and meaningful conversations, SLW Centennial HS staff provided valuable information about course offerings, industry certifications, and career opportunities available through CTE. The student ambassadors did an outstanding job answering questions and giving firsthand insight into what it is like to be part of each program. This experience allowed SLWK-8 students to begin thinking about their interests, strengths, and future goals as they prepare for the next step in their educational journey. We are grateful to the teachers and students who made this tour informative, welcoming, and inspiring for our future high school students.
