SPMS hosted an engaging Literacy & History Night this past week, bringing together students, families, staff, and community partners for an evening centered around literacy. Students enjoyed a variety of reading activities designed to spark curiosity and strengthen literacy skills, all while sharing pizza and spending time together. The school’s History Fair projects were proudly displayed throughout the event, giving families the opportunity to explore the hard work and creativity students put into their research. The Book Fair added even more excitement, offering our students a chance to discover new books. Each family received a raffle ticket and was given a chance to win a gift card to Walmart, Crumbl Cookie, or Tavola Pizza. Thank you to our community partners, Texas Roadhouse and Morningside Library, whose presence helped make the night even more memorable. Thank you to Mr. Anderson and Koch Roofing for the gift card donations. We also extend our gratitude to all our students, families, teachers, and staff, without your support, none of this would be possible!
