Fort Pierce Central High School Honors MLK Legacy

Fort Pierce Central High School students, faculty, and staff came together on Monday, January 19, to honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by proudly participating in the annual Martin Luther King Jr. Parade. The event served as a powerful opportunity for the Cobra family to reflect on Dr. King’s commitment to justice, equality, service, and unity, while actively demonstrating those values through participation and presence.

Fort Pierce Central made a remarkable impact, collectively logging more than 2.2 million steps for justice during the parade. This impressive accomplishment symbolized a shared commitment to moving Dr. King’s vision forward and highlighted the unity and pride that define the FPC community.

The school’s float once again captured attention, beautifully showcasing Fort Pierce Central’s Night of Stars honorees. In addition, performances by the band, dance team, and student athletes brought energy and excitement to the parade route, emphasizing the talent, spirit, and excellence present at FPC.
