In November, members of the School Counseling Team coordinated for the National Theater for Children to stop by Bayshore to do a performance for our K-2 students. During this performance, students learned about energy conservation, how we measure energy used, how energy is wasted, and what renewable energy is. During the show, students learned important lessons about energy efficiency, and teachers were provided lessons and activities to prolong the engagement for well after the end of the performance. This performance was sponsored by FPL, and we take the opportunity to say thank you to FPL as well as the National Theater for Children for giving our students this opportunity!
