In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, Mrs. Wright’s fourth-grade class at Lawnwood Elementary took a vibrant journey into the heart of Guatemala. Through an engaging and hands-on cultural exploration, students learned about the country’s rich traditions, colorful history, and unique geography. From traditional foods and music to famous landmarks, the class discovered what makes Guatemala such a special part of the Hispanic world. Mrs. Wright emphasized the importance of honoring diversity and recognizing the valuable contributions of Hispanic cultures to our global community. The students were enthusiastic and curious, making this learning experience both meaningful and memorable. Way to go Lawnwood Leopards!
