Congratulations to the SLW Centennial NJROTC Academic Team! They competed in the BOCA NJROTC Brain Brawl Competition hosted on Saturday, September 20th, 2025, against 24 other NJROTC teams.
Team Alpha consisted of c/PO3 Andrew Witz-Schaffer, c/LT Brandon Ramirez, c/PO1 Jacob Ramos, c/PO1 Eli Ross, and c/PO2 Brody Nestler. They made it through the Quarter-Finals, survived the Semi-Finals, and made it all the way to the Finals. They finished in 3rd Place and are coming home with the 3rd Place Trophy/Plaque!
Bravo Team consisted of c/PO2 Nolan Hamel, c/PO2 Zoey Fletcher, c/PO2 Payton Brown, c/PO3 Lamenthia Scott, and c/SN Cameron Pecci. They made it through the first three rounds but didn’t qualify for the Semi-Finals. They just barely missed qualifying by 1 spot!
Also, please congratulate c/PO3 Andrew Witz-Schaffer! He out answered 16 other cadets representing other teams and came in First Place in the individual “Brawl Stars” competition!
Great job representing SLW Centennial High School and the NJROTC unit in our 1st Academic competition of this school year!
