This week, the Career and Technical Education (CTE) Department at Treasure Coast High School administered the ASVAB to 240 11th and 12th-grade Academy students as part of a comprehensive career readiness initiative. Each student will receive personalized results highlighting their academic strengths and areas for growth. With guidance from CTE teachers, students will create career profiles on the ASVAB website, which blends academic and personality insights to match them with careers where they’re likely to thrive.
Students will use this data to develop a three-tiered career plan (A, B & C), ensuring they have multiple pathways to success. According to CTE Department Chair Ms. Burnay Lott, “The goal is to ensure that every graduating CTE student has an actionable and achievable plan for the future upon graduation.”
To further support this effort, Army and Navy recruiters visited today to share scholarship opportunities and emphasize the importance of having solid career options. TCHS is proud to empower students with the tools and knowledge they need to build bright futures!
