Port St. Lucie High School Jaguar Battalion Blood Drive

On September 17, 2025, the Port Saint Lucie High School Jaguar Battalion hosted its first Blood Drive of the year, making a significant impact by helping save over 132 lives in collaboration with OneBlood. A total of 44 students, teachers, and staff members participated in the event. Cadets were assigned different roles to ensure the blood drive ran smoothly. Some cadets were responsible for checking in donors to confirm their eligibility, while others acted as “runners,” retrieving students from their classes to donate and escorting them back after they had donated.  Additionally, a group of cadets assisted in the recovery room, supporting and monitoring donors after they gave blood.

The OneBlood “BIGREDBUS” was well-supported by the dedicated cadets, who were proud to contribute to such a meaningful cause. The Jaguar Battalion looks forward to the next opportunity to help save lives and give back to the community.
