Over summer break, Mrs. Gray, our dedicated Media Specialist at Bayshore Elementary, led a remarkable renovation of the Media Center that left students and staff thrilled upon their return. The space was transformed into a vibrant, welcoming hub for reading, learning, and creativity. One of the most captivating additions is a stunning mural painted by Mrs. Gray’s sister, Imani Gray, owner of Holy Watre LLC. The mural features beloved literary characters, including Dogman, Cat in the Hat, Corduroy, Piggie and Gerald, The Grinch, Pete the Cat, Alice in Wonderland, Thing One and Thing Two, Harold and his Purple Crayon, and Junie B. Jones. This colorful masterpiece has sparked joy and curiosity among students, making the Media Center a favorite destination. Mrs. Gray’s vision and Imani’s artistic talent have truly brought stories to life, creating a magical space that celebrates imagination and the love of reading.
