SLW Centennial Students Assemble Grace Packs

SLW Centennial High School students have been making a significant impact in their community by assembling food packs for their hungry peers through Grace Packs Inc. This initiative has seen remarkable growth over the seasons, with thousands of Grace Packs being put together for children across the district.

The students’ journey began with assembling around one hundred Grace Packs on their first day in the pantry. Their efficiency and teamwork have since increased significantly, helping to serve the nine hundred fifty-five students who rely on these packs each weekend. Mrs. Hogan and Ms. Maria Barrera have facilitated the students’ involvement month after month to collaborate with Grace Packs, Inc. This partnership has fostered a great sense of community and taught invaluable work skills to the students.
