On Thursday, September 22, 2022, Indian River State College hosted a community conversation in support of Lee E. Rhyant, the former Executive Vice President and General Manager for Lockheed-Martin Marietta. Mr. Rhyant, a native of Fort Pierce and graduate of Lincoln Park Academy, highlighted his new book, Soaring Eleven Guiding Principles on the Path from Segregation to Success, co-authored with Dr. Catherine Lewis.
Lincoln Park Academy’s award-winning choral ensemble “Belle Voix”, by request, performed a beautiful rendition of “I Shall not Live in Vain”. After the event, Mr. Rhyant offered his thanks and appreciation for the ensemble’s performance, calling them “a miraculous choir!”
