Port St. Lucie High School students attended a ceremony during third period on September 11, 2018, to recognize and recollect the tragedy that happened on September 11, 2001.
The ceremony began with the Presentation of Colors by the Jaguar Battalion’s Color Guard commanded by Cadet Captain Brianna Harris, accompanied by Cadet Sergeant Justin Locklar as state flag, Cadet Sergeant Alexis Morris as national guard and Cadet Sergeant Shane Canady as state guard. In the ceremony, students witnessed videos and heeded a speech given by Deputy Milton Rosario who was an eyewitness and first responder at ground zero when this event took place.
