21st Century students showcase their learning

The 21st Century After School Program at Southport Middle School recently held its first Parent Night. This was a night for the students to show the STEM projects they have been working on for the last three months. Next Generation students displayed their restaurant ideas, which they designed from the ground up. Digital Me students presented digital autobiographies. Art students displayed their work and Drama students put on a murder mystery dinner for students and their parents at the end of the night. In the picture, eighth grade student Tim Bannon demonstrates how his LEGO wind turbine works for Assistant Principal Tari Sexton.
