LPA Middle School Students Are Committed to Achieve

On Tuesday November 22, 2016, Lincoln Park Academy Middle School students participated in the annual Pathway to Success ceremony.  Whether it’s the youngest Greyhounds in the class of 2024 or the voting-age seniors who graduate in May, all students deserve to know they inspire adults around them.  The students received a keepsake to commemorate the ceremony and signed a graduate silhouette ensuring their commitment to be successful at LPA which is displayed proudly on campus.  Great job, Greyhounds…and keep up the hard work!              

Lincoln Park Academy Middle School Student Council Elections

During the month of October, Lincoln Park Academy Middle School proudly hosted its annual Student Council elections, celebrating student voice and civic engagement. A remarkable amount of students participated, demonstrating the enthusiasm and commitment of our middle schoolers as they cast their votes in their Social Studies and Science classrooms, fully engaging in the democratic process. LPA Middle School Officers Elected

Lincoln Park Academy elected new middle school officers on Friday, September 27th. Candidates campaigned throughout the week, garnering votes for the election. Middle school students voted in their social studies classroom after listening to candidates speeches during the morning announcements. LPA Middle School Band Earns Superior

The Lincoln Park Middle School Concert Band under the direction of Jason Hatfield and Jason Albert is proud to announce that it has earned a Superior rating at the prestigious Florida Bandmasters Association (FBA) District 13 Music Performance Assessment (MPA), held on March 11th. This remarkable achievement was the first time in fifteen years for this prestigious award. Congratulations to all our winners and participants of the LPA Media Center Diorama Contest!  The competition was tight, and the talent was through the roof!  Congratulations to our Middle School winners: 1st Place: Enidarylis Lopez and Vanessa Masters, 2nd Place: Ayla Bly and Samantha Rau, 3rd Place: Mikhail Horton and Arianna Delgado. LPA Makes History ~ LPA Embraces Their Past

 Lincoln Park Academy Retires the Jerseys of Some of Their Greatest Girls’ Basketball Stars On November 29th Lincoln Park Academy retired the jersey of 3 of the school’s top girls’ basketball stars in the history of their school. This celebration comes in conjunction with the 100th year celebration of the school. Melanie Densen-Rosier (22), a 2002 graduate, and LaQuita Ball (23), a 2003 graduate, had a career high of over 2,000 points scored during their basketball career at LPA. LPA Makayla Megnauth Plays in the All Star Softball in Puerto Rico and Dominates

Over Thanksgiving break Makayla Megnauth decided to take on the challenge of not only playing way up in 17U as a 12-year-old, but to help a small-town Puerto Rico team (Salinas) as they faced the best of the best that flew in from all over the United States to play on an AllStar team. In 7 games while playing with the team Makayla batted an amazing team high .714. Makayla also got 2 starts pitching as she got the win both times. On March 22, 2023, the Lincoln Park Academy Key Club conducted the swearing-in ceremony of officers. Elections were conducted at the February meeting, and the results were then announced. Faith Mobley will hold the position of President, Nachbi Pierre is Vice President, Megan Pinto is Secretary, and Jeno Retutal is Treasurer. Their term of office will continue through May 2024. LPA Key Club Supports Breast Cancer 5K Race with Enthusiasm and Dedication

On October 4th, a dedicated group of 15 enthusiastic members from the LPA Key Club came together to participate in the Breast Cancer 5K race held at Tradition Square in Port Saint Lucie. The hardworking LPA Key Club members played a vital role by assisting with various tasks, including setting up the event, distributing medals, and refreshing water to the runners, and helping with the cleanup process after the race concluded. LPA Key Club Shows Support

On Saturday, March 18, the LPA Key Club provided assistance to the Main Street Fort Pierce program by sponsoring and promoting the Coloring Wall during the Taste of the Sea and Sandy Shoes Seafood Festival in downtown Fort Pierce. Designed as a means to recruit festival participants in an entertaining and creative activity, the Coloring Wall was very successful. On October 11, 2025, eleven enthusiastic LPA Key Club members volunteered at the Fort Pierce Community Garden to help prepare for the upcoming Harvest Fall event on October 25. With great energy and teamwork, they cleared garden beds, organized tools, and helped beautify the space for the community. LPA Key Club Planting Seeds

On Saturday 21st, 10 LPA Key Club members (Lucia, Elena, Lilly, Katherine, Jaeda, Angelyka, Jenna, Rowan, Jaden, Damon, Mrs. Cassella, and Mrs. Peterson)  prepared an area for sunflower seeds to be planted at the First Church Community Garden Project. The members pulled the weeds, covered the land with shells, and planted the seeds. We will be back on Oct 5th to plant vegetables and fruits which will feed the local community.                      

LPA Key Club Meeting of the Year a Resounding Success

The Lincoln Park Academy Key Club held its first meeting as new and existing members were welcomed back for the 2023-2024 school year. After the introduction of sponsors and the Key Club mission statement, plans were discussed for the club and its future endeavors. The first beach clean-up is scheduled for November 4th.  Members can’t wait to share their hearts and skills with the rest of St. Lucie County!

LPA Key Club First Meeting of the School Year

September 4th, the LPA Key Club had its first meeting with over 90 members in attendance. Key Club community sponsors as well as partners were also in attendance. New members were able to learn more about the mission as well as learn about future volunteering opportunities. The next meeting is October 4th. It was an amazing way to start the year!      

LPA Key Club Enjoys the Fort Pierce Parade

The Lincoln Park Academy Key Club participated for the first time in the City of Fort Pierce “A Cattleman’s Christmas Parade.” The Sunrise Kiwanis Club sponsored and provided a small trailer along with a 1949 vintage tractor.  The members worked very hard to build a float. Forty-two students walked behind the float and represented the newly reinstated club and our Greyhound pride.          

LPA Key Club Collaborates With FKS To Enhance Their Garden

On a sunny Friday afternoon, Key Club members Gabriele, Carol, Guerlynard, Justin, Jenessa, and Jeno came together to lend their hands in the garden at F.K. Sweet Elementary. Their dedication and teamwork not only beautified the space but also showed the spirit of community service that the Key Club embodies. A warm thank you to these amazing students for their hard work and commitment!

Twelve Key Club members (Rowan Crandall, Roselyn Crandall, Sydney Daniel, Gabriel Guarnizo, Damon Harris, Jeremiah Henderson, Malachi Henderson, Gilberto Mendez, Isabela Mohindroo, Jayden Nargen, Nachbi Pierre, and Jaeda Wolfgram) attended the first activity at the Community Garden today. The students were taught how to flip the soil, even it up, and place and secure the irrigation hoses. The soil was left ready to rest for 6 weeks. LPA Key Club at the KCKC

The Lincoln Park Academy Key Club Kick-Off Conference held on September 28, 2005, was a tremendous success! Members had the opportunity to connect with fellow Key Club members from Palm Beach, as well as the lieutenant governors of our zone. During the conference, they discussed important details about fundraising, membership growth, large-scale service projects, and upcoming statewide events. Attendees also explored ways to partner with international organizations like UNICEF and Erika’s Lighthouse to expand our impact. LPA Key Club at the All Villages

LPA Key Club helped unload 1,500 pumpkins at All Villages Presbyterian Church in Port Saint Lucie on October 7th, 2023. Their pumpkins needed to be unloaded and set up as well as the hay that needed to be spread out all around the patch. With all the hard work of the members, 45 members and other volunteers, the pumpkin patch was a success! With all the teamwork, they were able to get it all done in around 3 hours. These pumpkins are now ready to be sold to the public for the fall season thanks to the LPA Key Club!
