Fort Pierce Westwood Academy recently wrapped up the school year with an exciting and rewarding final Club Day, leaving students and staff with lasting memories. This PBIS-sponsored celebration recognized students who demonstrated proficiency on their state assessments, giving them the unique opportunity to participate in a dunk tank challenge—featuring none other than Principal David M. Alfonso. Cheers and laughter filled the air as students eagerly lined up for the chance to make a splash and celebrate their academic achievements in a fun and memorable way.
The event offered much more than just the dunk tank. The campus buzzed with energy as food trucks served a variety of tasty options, a DJ kept the crowd entertained with music, and student organizations showcased their creativity and teamwork. Clubs such as the National Art Honor Society and JROTC added to the festive atmosphere by selling a range of treats, from refreshing iced coffee to flavorful butter chicken.
This final Club Day was a perfect way to acknowledge the hard work students have put in throughout the year while giving them a chance to relax and enjoy time with friends. As finals approach and the school year comes to a close, events like this highlight the strong sense of community at Westwood and celebrate both academic success and school spirit.
