Chief Brian Reuther of  the SLPS Security Department announced today that Treasure Coast Crime Stoppers banners will be placed in all K-8 and middle schools as a step toward expanding awareness of the Crime Stoppers program.  Last year, in partnership with the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office, the program began on high school campuses. Safety is a priority for SLPS, and the District will remain vigilant in monitoring campuses and buses.  It is up to everyone to immediately report any concerns or suspicious activities directly to law enforcement or staff members.
