Oak Hammock K-8 Hosts 3rd Annual Trick or Treat Trail

Music, costumes, candy, and plenty of Osprey spirit filled Oak Hammock K-8 as students and families came together for the school’s 3rd Annual Trick or Treat Trail.

The evening once again featured a special partnership with the Treasure Coast Symphony Orchestra, which rehearses at Oak Hammock every Monday evening. The orchestra treated families to two Halloween concerts featuring seasonal favorites including Ghostbusters, In the Hall of the Mountain King, Danse Macabre, Star Wars, Toccata and Fugue, and more.

After each performance, families continued the fun by making their way through Oak Hammock’s Trick or Treat Trail. Staff members teamed up with colleagues to create themed stations throughout the school, complete with costumes, decorations, and plenty of candy for the ghouls, ghosts, and goblins who visited.

The celebration was a true school and community effort. Oak Hammock families helped support the event through candy donations, while the Treasure Coast Symphony Orchestra also generously contributed candy for the Trail. Teachers and staff brought the experience to life by volunteering their time and creativity to create memorable stations for students.

Now in its third year, the Trick or Treat Trail has quickly become a favorite Oak Hammock tradition. Students begin asking about the event well before October arrives, and the excitement surrounding the celebration continues to grow each year.

Most importantly, the evening provided another opportunity for Oak Hammock students, families, staff, and community partners to come together and create lasting memories beyond the school day.

Three years of music, treats, and Osprey spirit, and this tradition just keeps getting sweeter!
