Allapattah Flats K-8 is honored and grateful to receive a $5,000 grant from the Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation (@sproutsfnd)! This generous support will help strengthen our gardening and nutrition education program, providing students with meaningful, hands-on experiences that teach them how to grow, prepare, and enjoy fresh, nutritious foods. Through these opportunities, students will develop lifelong healthy habits while learning the importance of nutrition, sustainability, and wellness.
This grant will benefit approximately 600 students in grades K-5, giving every child the opportunity to participate in engaging, garden-based learning experiences. Together, we are planting the seeds for a healthier future, inspiring the next generation to make positive food choices and connect with a healthier, more fulfilling way of life.
