Morning Checkout has quickly become one of the most popular and exciting opportunities for our students. Every Tuesday and Wednesday morning, students eagerly visit the media center before class as part of their morning checkout routine. Their enthusiasm is contagious, with many students bursting with excitement as they explore the shelves in search of new books to enjoy. Throughout the library, lively conversations can be heard as students discuss favorite authors, recommend titles to friends, and decide what book they want to choose next. This special time has become a highlight of the school day for many students. The ultimate goal of Morning Checkout is to increase literacy by expanding student access to the media center and encouraging a lifelong love of reading through regular opportunities to discover and borrow books.
