SLPS Career Coaches (Mr. Terrence Platt and Dr. LeiNitia Robinson) had the opportunity to participate in the Careers in Construction Week tours hosted by the Treasure Coast Builders Association Charitable Foundation. This hands-on workforce development program introduces participants to career opportunities within the construction and related industries, allowing them to explore various skilled trades through interactive learning experiences. Participants gain valuable industry knowledge, develop practical skills, and connect with local employers, culminating in a career fair at the end of the week.
It is always exciting to see recent graduates from St. Lucie Public Schools actively engaged in the program and taking advantage of this unique opportunity to explore potential career pathways.
