Chef Roy from Roy’s Sushi Thai and Grill rolled into TCHS and brought the sushi skills with him! Our culinary students learned how to properly prep and roll classic California rolls—and the best part? They got to enjoy their own creations when they were finished! Chef Roy walked us through real kitchen tips like setting up a clean workstation, getting the rice just right, and rolling with the perfect amount of pressure so everything stays tight and tasty. Students asked great questions, practiced their technique, and stepped up their plating and presentation. A big THANK YOU to Chef Roy for bringing real-world experience right here to our students.
