Fort Pierce Central High School students recently embarked on another exciting and educational adventure to the Cox Science Center and Aquarium, where learning came to life through hands-on exploration and discovery. During their visit, students immersed themselves in a variety of interactive experiences. They explored the museum’s dynamic exhibits, participated in the Brain in Motion Lab, and engaged in a dissection activity that offered valuable, real-world insight into science and anatomy. These opportunities allowed students to deepen their understanding of biological systems while practicing critical thinking and teamwork in a lab setting.
After a morning of scientific exploration, students gathered for lunch at Panda Express, enjoying time to relax, reflect, and connect with classmates. The combination of academic engagement and social bonding made the day both informative and memorable. The education coordinator at the Cox Science Center shared glowing feedback, noting that our FPCHS students were well-mannered, respectful, and an all-around terrific group. Their enthusiasm, curiosity, and conduct reflected the high standards we strive for at Central.
We are proud of our Cobras for representing FPCHS with excellence and for embracing every opportunity to learn, grow, and shine. Experiences like these remind us that education goes far beyond the classroom — and our students are ready to take it all in.
