Fort Pierce Central High School Bands Earn Top Honors at District MPA

As part of Music in Our Schools Month, Fort Pierce Central High School is proud to recognize an exceptional achievement by our Band Program.

On Friday, March 6, both the Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band earned Superior ratings at the Florida Bandmasters Association (FBA) District 13 Concert Band Music Performance Assessment. Superior is the highest rating a band can receive, reflecting the skill, discipline, and musical artistry demonstrated by our student performers.
These outstanding results are the culmination of countless hours of rehearsal, focused preparation, and a shared commitment to excellence. They also highlight the unwavering support of our band staff, families, and the broader Cobra community who champion music education year‑round.

Fort Pierce Central extends heartfelt congratulations to our talented band students and to Director of Bands Stephen Gabin for continuing the school’s proud tradition of musical excellence. Our Cobras consistently bring passion, precision, and pride to the stage — and we couldn’t be more proud of their accomplishments.
