Fort Pierce Central High School Girls Dominate District Opener

Fort Pierce Central’s Girls Basketball Team made a powerful statement in the opening round of the district playoffs with an impressive 66–26 win over Vero Beach. From the opening tip, the Lady Cobras played with focus, intensity, and confidence, setting the pace for a commanding performance that showcased skill and teamwork.

Offensively, the team executed with precision, moving the ball effectively to create open shots, knocking down timely three-pointers, and attacking the basket with strength and determination. Their unselfish play kept the energy high and the momentum firmly in their favor.

Defensively, Fort Pierce Central was relentless. The Lady Cobras controlled the boards, challenged shots, forced turnovers, and hustled for every loose ball. Their defensive pressure disrupted Vero Beach’s rhythm and fueled fast-break opportunities throughout the game.
