On January 27th, Palm Pointe’s K–2 students and their families enjoyed a wonderful evening at a Family UFLI Literacy Night: From Sounds to Stories! Students proudly showcased the foundational reading skills they’ve been developing in class, from letter–sound knowledge to blending and decoding. Families participated in hands-on activities that deepened understanding of early literacy, while parents learned practical strategies to support reading growth at home. The excitement on students’ faces as they demonstrated their skills made the night truly special. Thank you to all the families who joined us in celebrating early literacy and building a strong foundation for lifelong reading success!
